Loved this. Lots of substance in this short article. Social media, especially Twitter, is something I want to get better at and this article has provided me with plenty of food for thought.

Dear Jaclyn,
We would love to be part of the DC CommuniTea as well. No immediate plans yet, but we are growing. One cup at a time, one city at a time!

Thanks for the response, guys! I'm happy to help and brainstorm if you want!

I'll have to look out for the products in stores... but would love it if you end up opening here at some point. For now, I'll just have to satisfy my cravings when I visit friends and family in Chicago.

Don't even bother with that last 'if'. There is absolutely a ton of great substance here!
I especially love that you included an example to illustrate your point. Such a simple technique that it often goes overlooked, but it's one of the best ways to get people to truly experience the essence of what we're saying. I experienced it with this post, for sure! [thumbs up]

Hey Ruth, great to meet another solopreneur!! I don't think freelance is necessarily negative... it just seems ambiguous, and I don't want to leave people guessing about my intentions. It's also interesting to hear that you identify one way online, but then use a different title with clients. I've found that my terminology changes when I talk to people who aren't as familiar with social media.
